FAQs

What does YTH Wellness offer?

YTH Wellness is a men's health clinic offering testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), peptide therapy, medical weight loss and NAD+ therapy. Every plan starts with a free in-person consultation with a licensed provider, and lab work can be drawn on-site during the same visit.

Where are YTH Wellness locations?

YTH Wellness has 10 locations across Staten Island, New Jersey and Miami: Staten Island (North Shore and South Shore), Montclair, Paramus, Englewood, Pompton Plains, Bridgewater, Matawan and Brick in New Jersey, and Brickell in Miami.

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. Your consultation is completely free, with no obligation to move forward. It's your chance to meet a provider, understand your options and decide what makes sense for you.

What should I bring, and how long does the first visit take?

Bring a valid photo ID and your insurance card if you plan to use insurance. Most consultations take 30 minutes or less. If you decide to have labs drawn the same visit, plan for a little extra time.

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

No. You can book a YTH consultation directly. If your insurance plan needs any extra authorization for covered services, we'll let you know when we verify your benefits.

Do you accept insurance?

YTH Wellness accepts most major insurance plans for TRT and related lab work. Peptide therapy, medical weight loss and NAD+ therapy are self-pay, with transparent pricing reviewed at your free consultation. We can verify your coverage before or during your visit, and copays, deductibles or coinsurance may apply based on your plan.

Is medical weight loss covered by insurance?

Generally no. Weight-loss medication is self-pay at YTH, and we go over the pricing at your free consultation before anything moves forward. TRT and its related blood work are the treatments typically covered by most major insurance.

How do I know if I'm a candidate for TRT?

The only way to know for sure is lab work and a medical evaluation. TRT is only appropriate for men with a clinical diagnosis of low testosterone, so we draw your labs on-site, review your health history and only recommend treatment when it's medically appropriate.

How is TRT given, and how often?

For most patients it's a quick, once-weekly injection at any YTH location. Your provider sets the dose based on your labs and keeps monitoring your levels with follow-up blood work, adjusting as needed.

Does TRT affect fertility?

It can. Testosterone therapy may lower sperm production while you're on it. If fertility matters to you, tell your provider at your consultation. Options such as hCG may be available, and your provider will walk you through what makes sense.

What is medical weight loss and how does it work?

Medical weight loss is prescription treatment supervised by a licensed provider. We use lab work to understand what's driving your weight, prescribe GLP-1 medication when it's appropriate (a once-weekly injection, started low and increased gradually) and adjust your plan over time with in-person check-ins.

Do you offer medical weight loss programs for men?

Yes. YTH Wellness is a men's health clinic, and our physician-guided weight loss plans are built around your labs, health history and goals. GLP-1 medication isn't right for everyone, and your provider will tell you honestly if it isn't the right fit.

Can I get TRT and medical weight loss at the same clinic?

Yes. YTH Wellness offers TRT, peptide therapy, medical weight loss and NAD+ therapy, so you don't need separate clinics. Your provider looks at your labs and goals and tells you which treatments, if any, make sense for you.

How often do I need peptide therapy?

It depends on your goals. Peptide protocols are built around what you want to work on, such as recovery, sleep or metabolism, and your provider sets the schedule at your consultation and adjusts it as you progress.

Where do your peptides come from?

Our peptides are prepared by licensed U.S. 503A compounding pharmacies and labeled with your name, so you always know what you're getting. Compounded medications are not individually reviewed or approved by the FDA.

What is NAD+ therapy and how does it work?

NAD+ is a coenzyme found in every cell that helps your body turn food into usable energy, and levels naturally decline with age. At YTH it's given as an in-office IV infusion or an injection. Patients typically come to us hoping to support energy, focus and recovery, but research is still developing and NAD+ is not FDA-approved to treat any condition, so we won't promise a result.
